Where are you from?

I was born in Jamaica. I grew up in the Cayman Islands. I currently live in UK, London

What is your earliest memory of music?

5 years old leading songs in church


When did you start being an artist?

At age 17. I started in a group called Daszion


How would you describe your style?
Contemporary/ soulful gospel


Are there any particular themes or messages that you often explore in your music?
I particularly specify that God is in charge


What is the meaning behind your stage name?
Toney-Ann Foster is my real name- I go by that name


What is the story behind your most famous song?
I was emotional writing that song and it was my first song I wrote. I name the album from it. Mercy is the name of the song.


What is the hardest thing about being an artist?
Cause me to put pressure on myself to do the right thing. Which is not really a problem because as Christian it should be natural.


What’s the best thing about being an artist?
For me I get to express myself. I donttalk much but when I minister I say what I needed to say


What are your goals for your music career?
My expectations is open- am expecting the best


What do you like to do in your free time (outside of music)?
I walk in the park or write, read bible


Do you get involved with charities or causes that are important to you?
Yes I did sign up to give to children in need.


What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?
I like to lock inside and come out once needed


What does a typical day look like for you?
I woke up. Do prayers and devotion, make breakfast, sometimes go for early morning walks,
Clean, listen music.

Do you have any upcoming projects we can be excited about?
Yes. I have completed writing my new album

I will sing and Still Glorious


What are your favorite topics to write about?
The word of God. Things the word of God has


How do you deal with creative block or artist block?
Am always excited for singing and creating music.
If am not feeling my own music I listen to other artist’s music.

To stay in my lane


What was the best show or tour you have ever been on?
Tasha Cobb’s concert in the Cayman Islands.

What’s been your favorite moment of your career so far?
The tour I had in UK in 2021. I sang at many cities in the UK. It was fulfilling.
